FIBA will double total prize money at the FIBA 3×3 World Tour in 2018 to break the 1 million USD mark for the first time in 3×3 history.
“This is a crucial milestone for us,” FIBA 3×3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez said. “We want to give our current and future stars the financial means to dedicate themselves to the game and bring it to an even more spectacular level.”
